“Gigapixel AI Pro” is the old search string. The current app is Topaz Gigapixel (Studio / subscription), latest community drop 1.3.5 (27 August 2026). Perpetual Gigapixel AI is legacy. There is no official “Pro 2026 unlocked” installer. x64 and Snapdragon are different Topaz builds. In addition, Topaz Gigapixel AI is designed to upscale images while keeping fine detail, so it suits photographers who need larger prints.

If the EXE is 60 MB named Gigapixel_Pro_Full with no publisher, leave.

What to do next

1. Sign in at topazlabs.com.
2. Download Windows or Snapdragon — match the PC.
3. Run the installer.
4. Sign in inside the app.
5. Download one core model first. Wonder 3.5 / generative after that.
6. Upscale a small JPEG — not a 200 MP batch on day one.

Typical folder: C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Gigapixel.

Topaz documents AVX on Intel/AMD. If setup says AVX missing, that CPU will not run the x64 app. Snapdragon uses the ARM installer; some generative models stay cloud-only on ARM.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• SmartScreen can appear on a new installer. Use More info only if the signature is Topaz.
• Do not turn off Defender to “unlock 16×.”
• Do not block Topaz domains.

Topaz Gigapixel AI Trial and Subscription

Topaz sells Topaz Gigapixel as a subscription. Cancel in your Topaz account if you only wanted the trial. Perpetual Gigapixel AI is not the current SKU.

A $20 “Gigapixel Pro lifetime 2026” key is not Topaz.

Will Topaz Gigapixel AI Run on This PC?

x64: AVX CPU, current Windows 10/11, 16 GB RAM as a working floor (Topaz quotes 24 GB for large upscales; very large / 256 MP-class work wants far more). Generative / Wonder local: about 8 GB VRAM on NVIDIA/AMD. Models want tens of GB on an internal SSD. Internet for install, licence, updates, cloud.

Already installed? In-app update to 1.3.5. If that fails, use the full installer (Topaz users reported that workaround).

Install, first upscale, and sign-in

First run

1. Open Topaz Gigapixel.
2. Sign in.
3. High Fidelity / Recover on a small file.
4. Add Wonder 3.5 when VRAM and disk are ready.
5. Photoshop plugin only after the standalone works.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps.

If it did not work

• AVX error — wrong CPU or you used x64 on ARM.
• Wonder missing — model / Neuroserver / VRAM.
• Legacy key rejected — different product.
• 80 MB Gigapixel_Unlocked — leave.

Why people still install Gigapixel

• Print-size upscales without a full retouch suite
• Wonder 3.5 on current 1.3.x
• Same Topaz account as Photo / Video

It will not replace Photoshop.
