Recently, Acer released their Aspire 3 notebook, which is powered by the most recent AMD hardware. The laptop is the first to use the brand-new AMD Ryzen 7020 CPUs and AMD Radeon graphics in North America. Acer claims that their 15.6-inch laptop may last for up to 11 hours on a single charge. The base price of the Acer Aspire 3 (AMD) is $400. The Aspire 3 is also available with an Intel processor; some of these systems even include 12th Generation Intel Core processors.
A few weeks ago in the fall, AMD introduced the Zen 2 mobile processors in the 7020 families. The Aspire 3 comes equipped with up to a 512 GB SSD, 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor with AMD Radeon graphics. At the time of this writing, Acer’s online store only offered the Ryzen 3 model, although further configurations were promised.
Either a touch-screen or non-touch-screen version of the Aspire 3 can be purchased. For added comfort and protection against eye strain, BlueLightShield filters have been integrated into the screen.
The Acer laptop also includes Acer’s purified software.
Its webcam has both temporal noise reduction (using AI) and artificial intelligence (for the voice) for better quality video.
