FIX: Text not displayed after updating to Windows 10 Creators Update

The Windows 10 Creator Update is definitely a milestone in PC history. Microsoft has designed this operating system with several unique features and improvements that pave the way for a new era in the industry. But after months of testing, the creators’ updates aren’t the best. Many users who have updated their computers have reported various technical issues ranging from installation issues to black screen issues. Some of these errors affect a significant number of users, while others are very small.

We have a problem where no text appears in File Explorer and Control Panel. Here’s how a user describes the problem:

  1. Run SFC Scan
  2. Remove the Comodo firewall
  3. Resetting your computer to factory settings

Solution 1: run an SFC scan

You do it, type in cmd, choose Command Prompt, then choose Run as Administrator.
Type the command sfc / scannow, press Enter and wait for the scan to finish.
