Windows 10 Antivirus or Microsoft’s defender is the best Antivirus software offered by Microsoft. There is a lot of good Antivirus software are available for Windows, however, no one can beat Microsoft’s defender. In Windows 10, Windows defender is very effective against spyware, malware, and other security issues. Steps to disable Antivirus in Windows 10
- Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings (or Virus & threat protection settings in previous versions of Windows 10).
- Switch Real-time protection to Off. Note that scheduled scans will continue to run. However, files that are downloaded or installed will not be scanned.
However keep in mind that, your device will be vulnerable to threats and viruses. It is advisable to disable Antivirus only when you are using another trusted Antivirus software.
