That’s Microsoft Office 2007. Same story as 2010, only older. Support ended 10 October 2017. Microsoft no longer hosts the installer. You need the original disc and a key you already own.

If you searched for “Office 2007 Professional Plus full” or “ISO”

Microsoft will not give you that file.

• Keep the retail or volume disc you bought
• Keep the product key on the case or COA
• Run SETUP.EXE from that disc

A “2007 Enterprise SP3” folder from a file host is not an official replacement. Old Digital River or forum mirrors are not something to trust nine years after support died. KMS tools are not how retail Office works.

What Microsoft will still let you do

If setup starts, publisher should read Microsoft Corporation. Do not turn off Defender to “activate.”

Activation in 2007 lived under the Office Button → Options → Activate, or Help → Activate Product in some apps. Phone activation from 2007 is not a service you should count on in 2026.

Pick the right product — not a random EXE

Groove, InfoPath, Project 2007 and Visio 2007 were separate or suite extras. Same support cliff.

Microsoft is explicit: the apps usually keep opening. You take the security risk. There were no extended security updates after that date.

Will it run on this PC?

When it was supported it targeted Windows XP / Vista–era PCs: roughly a 500 MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, a couple of GB of disk, 1024×768.

XP, Vista and Windows 7 are all out of support. Windows 10 support ended 14 October 2025. Office 2007 on any current or ageing PC is an unpatched 2007 suite. Do not put it on a machine that handles mail or money. Compatibility with Windows 11 is unofficial and brittle.

If you still have the disc

1. Insert the CD. Run SETUP.EXE if it does not auto-start.
2. Enter the product key from the case.
3. Accept the licence and finish.
4. Try to activate. If activation servers refuse a 2007 key in 2026, that is expected. Do not hunt a crack.

Uninstall: Programs and Features, or Settings → Apps.

If it did not work

• Setup missing — you only have a key and Microsoft pulled the web installer.
• Invalid key — already used, or a grey-market volume key.
• You downloaded an ISO from a blog — treat it as untrusted.

Why anyone still looks for 2007

• They still have the CD
• An old template or add-in
• Habit

What you do not get: patches, Microsoft help, Copilot, OneDrive as part of the suite, or a supported connection to current Microsoft 365 mail.
