Microsoft’s Surface pen can add many extra features to your Surface, but this pen is not without its drawbacks. It is known to stop working from time to time. Here are some brilliant solutions for fixing your Surface pen so you can start rewriting, drawing, and multitasking on your Windows 10 computer.
- Download the latest update for Windows 10
If your Surface Pro pen isn’t working as expected, it could be because your Surface Pro, Go, Book or Laptop doesn’t have the latest Windows Update installed. Running the update will download the latest patch for the Windows 10 operating system, but the device will also update and repair drivers that allow peripherals such as a Surface pen to work properly.
- Swipe to the right of the screen to open the latest Windows 10 updates, new drivers, and the Action Center.
- Click All Settings .
- Click Update & Securit .
- Click on the check for the update button. Your level will now automatically download all available updates and drivers from Microsoft’s servers.
Although your level restarts automatically after installing the update, sometimes some changes require a manual restarting. To restart the level, click the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of your screen, click the Power icon, and then click Start.
