AutoCAD Architecture (ACA) is Autodesk’s architectural flavour of AutoCAD: walls, doors, spaces, schedules. Current year is 2027. It is not Revit. “Architecture full” is a subscription or the Architecture toolset on AutoCAD — not a cracked ISO.

ACA sits on the AutoCAD engine with AEC objects. You either install AutoCAD Architecture 2027 as its own product, or you install AutoCAD 2027 and switch to the Architecture toolset. Both come from an Autodesk account.

Do not run AutoCAD_Architecture_2027_Full.exe from a file host. That is not Autodesk.

Work PCs: your admin assigns the seat or a deployment. You still install from Autodesk.

If you searched for “AutoCAD Architecture 2027 full” or “activated”

There is no extra unlocked setup.

• Sign in with the Autodesk ID that owns ACA, AutoCAD (with toolsets) or the AEC Collection
• Click Install
• Sign in again when the product opens
• Switch workspace / toolset to Architecture if you installed AutoCAD

A “permanent ACA 2027” folder plus a FlexLM patch is stolen licensing. Autodesk products check the account.

LT does not include the Architecture toolset.

If nothing saves, you opened AutoCAD LT or Revit by mistake.

What to do next

1. Sign in at manage.autodesk.com.
2. Open All products and services.
3. Choose AutoCAD Architecture (standalone) or AutoCAD (then use the Architecture toolset).
4. Pick 2027 → Install or Download / Direct download.
5. Run the Autodesk installer. Stay online until it can sign in.

Typical folder: C:\Users\You\Downloads.
App path: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2027 (toolset) or the Architecture product folder Autodesk creates for ACA.

Custom / deployment images are an admin job. Do not take a 12 GB “full ISO” from a forum thread.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read Autodesk.
• SmartScreen can appear on a new Autodesk setup. Use More info only if the signature is Autodesk.
• Do not turn off Defender to “activate.”
• Do not replace licensing DLLs.

Help → About should show AutoCAD Architecture 2027 or AutoCAD 2027 plus the Architecture toolset.
AutoCAD updates and ACA updates are separate. Install the AutoCAD patch and the Architecture toolset patch when Autodesk Access lists both.

Offline Help is a separate language download from Autodesk Support. It does not install with the product.

Trial and subscription

ACA / AutoCAD is a subscription. A trial is the official look. Cancel in the Autodesk account if you only wanted the trial.

Education seats follow Autodesk Education rules. A $35 “2027 lifetime Architecture” key is not Autodesk.

Will it run on this PC?

2027 official floor matches AutoCAD 2027: 64-bit Windows 11. Autodesk does not list Windows 10 for 2027. Stay on 2026 if you cannot leave Windows 10. Architecture adds disk and RAM on top of vanilla AutoCAD.

Already installed? Use manage.autodesk.com or Autodesk Access. You do not download a second “full 2027.”

Install, first run, and the Architecture workspace

First run

1. Open AutoCAD Architecture 2027, or AutoCAD 2027 → Architecture toolset.
2. Sign in with the same Autodesk ID.
3. Confirm walls, doors and AEC objects — not just LINE and PLINE.
4. Open an imperial or metric AEC template (US installs ship AIA-oriented templates).
5. Check Help → About.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps, or Autodesk Uninstall. Close drawings first. Removing a toolset update may mean uninstall/reinstall of that toolset.

If it did not work

• Only vanilla AutoCAD menus — you installed LT, or never switched toolset.
• Product missing on the account — this ID never had ACA or AutoCAD.
• License error — fake key or seat already burned.
• Installer is 80 MB named Full_Activated — leave.
• Windows 10 + 2027 — unsupported. Use 2026 or move to Windows 11.

Why firms still install ACA

• DWG deliverables with intelligent walls and schedules
• Layer keys / NCS-style templates
• Same AutoCAD commands the drafters already know

It is not a Revit replacement. Linked Revit/BIM work belongs in Revit.

Questions before you trust the installer

Is this the official file?
Yes if it came from manage.autodesk.com and the publisher is Autodesk.

Is ACA free?
No. Education has its own rules. The trial is time-limited.

Do I install ACA and AutoCAD both?
Only if the account lists both and the office needs both icons. Most AutoCAD subscribers just enable the Architecture toolset.

ACA vs Revit?
ACA is AutoCAD with AEC objects. Revit is BIM. Pick the one the project already uses.

Safe?
Official account installer. The usual risk is fake “Architecture full” sites.

After you have the file

Install from Autodesk. Sign in. Apply both AutoCAD and Architecture updates. Pay or use the work/education seat.
