Autodesk Revit LT: AutoCAD LT is Autodesk’s 2D drafting seat. Current year is AutoCAD LT 2027. It is not full AutoCAD. “LT full” means the LT subscription — not a cracked ISO that unlocks 3D and toolsets.

Work PCs: your admin assigns the seat. You still install from Autodesk.

If you searched for “Autodesk Revit LT 2027 full” or “activated”

There is no extra unlocked setup, and a crack will not turn LT into AutoCAD.

• Sign in with the Autodesk ID that owns AutoCAD LT
• Click Install
• Sign in again when LT opens

A “permanent LT 2027” folder plus a FlexLM patch is stolen licensing. Autodesk products check the account. If you need 3D, APIs or toolsets, buy AutoCAD, do not patch LT.

If nothing saves, you opened full AutoCAD or picked Mac by mistake.

What to do next

1. Sign in at manage.autodesk.com.
2. Open All products and services.
3. Choose AutoCAD LT — not AutoCAD.
4. Platform Windows, version 2027.
5. Install or Download / Direct download.
6. Run the Autodesk installer. Stay online until LT can sign in.

Typical folder: C:\Users\You\Downloads.
App path: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD LT 2027.

Custom deployments are an admin job on supported products. Do not take a 4 GB “full ISO” from a forum thread.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read Autodesk.
• SmartScreen can appear on a new Autodesk setup. Use More info only if the signature is Autodesk.
• Do not turn off Defender to “activate.”
• Do not replace licensing DLLs.

Help → About should show AutoCAD LT 2027. Use Autodesk Access or the account portal for later LT 2027.x patches. Full AutoCAD updates do not apply to an LT install.

• Architecture / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil 3D toolsets — those need AutoCAD, not LT
• Inventor, Revit
• Old 2018 “LT full” packs

What LT leaves out (why offices still buy AutoCAD)

LT is cheaper 2D. Full AutoCAD adds what LT does not ship:

• 3D modelling
• LISP, ObjectARX, richer automation
• Seven industry toolsets
• The extra productivity features Autodesk keeps on the AutoCAD SKU

You can still exchange DWG with AutoCAD users. You cannot load an Architecture toolset on LT.

Trial and subscription

Desktop AutoCAD LT is a subscription. A 30-day trial is the official look. Cancel in the Autodesk account if you only wanted the trial.

Education seats follow Autodesk Education rules. A $20 “2027 lifetime LT” key is not Autodesk.

Will it run on this PC?

AutoCAD LT 2027 official Windows floor: 64-bit Windows 11. ARM processors are not supported. Autodesk does not list Windows 10 for LT 2027. Stay on AutoCAD LT 2026 if you cannot leave Windows 10. Mac requirements are a different page.

Already installed? Use manage.autodesk.com or Autodesk Access. You do not download a second “full 2027.”

Install, first run, and sign-in

First run

1. Open AutoCAD LT 2027.
2. Sign in with the same Autodesk ID.
3. Draw a rectangle and a dimension — not the 400-layout set on day one.
4. Check Help → About.
5. Confirm you do not see 3D modelling or APPLOAD LISP as on full AutoCAD.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps, or Autodesk Uninstall. Close drawings first.

If it did not work

• Product missing on the account — this ID owns AutoCAD, not LT (or the reverse).
• Looking for EXTRUDE, toolsets or LISP — that is full AutoCAD.
• License error — fake key or seat already burned.
• Installer is 80 MB named Full_Activated — leave.
• Windows 10 or ARM + 2027 — unsupported. Use 2026 or a supported PC.

Why offices still install AutoCAD LT

• DWG is the file they already have
• Cheaper documentation seat next to a few full AutoCAD licences
• Windows and Mac from the same subscription family

2027 notes

• Same March 2026 AutoCAD wave (Geometry Cleanup, Assistant, connected references live on the AutoCAD family — feature depth still follows the LT SKU)
• Admin update policies
• Offline Help is a separate download

Is this the official file?
Yes if it came from manage.autodesk.com and the publisher is Autodesk.

Is AutoCAD LT free?
No. TrueView is free. Education has its own rules. The trial is time-limited.

LT vs AutoCAD?
LT is 2D. AutoCAD adds 3D, automation and toolsets.

Do I need 2027?
Only if the office standard says so. A subscription still lets you install earlier LT years listed on the account.

Safe?
Official account installer. The usual risk is fake “LT full” sites.

After you have the file

Install from Autodesk. Sign in. Apply LT updates. Pay or use the work/education seat. If the project needs 3D or a toolset, subscribe to AutoCAD, do not crack LT.
