Firefly is Adobe’s generative AI. In Photoshop it is Generative Fill, Expand, Generate Image and related tools — not a separate Windows program. “Firefly AI Support for Photoshop full” is a fake plugin. You install current Photoshop from Creative Cloud and sign in with an Adobe ID that has generative credits.

There is no extra unlocked Firefly installer.

• Update Photoshop from Creative Cloud
• Sign in with the Adobe ID that owns the plan
• Open a document → selection → Generative Fill
• Pick a model in the Contextual Task Bar

A “Firefly Support 2026” zip dropped into Plug-ins is malware or a stolen-credit wrapper. Grey-market “unlimited Firefly” keys are recycled Adobe IDs.

Your Firefly AI Photoshop download starts in Creative Cloud

If nothing appears, you opened firefly.adobe.com (the web app) or an old Photoshop 2022.

What to do next

1. Install or update Photoshop from Creative Cloud.
2. Aim for 27.10 or newer (August 2026 added the AI Assisted Editor beta).
3. Sign in. Confirm credits: Window / plan UI → Generative Credit Usage where Adobe shows it.
4. Open an image. Make a selection. Click Generative Fill.
5. Choose Firefly Image 5, Firefly Fill & Expand, or a partner model Adobe lists.

Typical app path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026.
Web Firefly is extra: firefly.adobe.com — same ID, not a replacement for the desktop app.

Internet is required. Generative features call Adobe (and partner) services.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read Adobe.
• SmartScreen on a “Firefly support” EXE that is not from Adobe — cancel.
• Do not turn off Defender to “enable AI.”
• Do not replace Photoshop.exe or inject DLLs.

If Fill is missing, the app is too old, you are offline, or the plan has no generative access.

• Topaz standalone (Adobe lists some Topaz paths as premium partner features inside Photoshop — still via Adobe, not a torrent)

Credits (why Fill “doesn’t work”)

Adobe splits standard and premium generations.

• Many Firefly Fill/Expand-style features: about 1 credit per generation (some tools cost more; Harmonize is documented at 5).
• Firefly Image 5, partner models (Gemini / FLUX family as listed), and some Topaz upscale/denoise/sharpen paths: premium.
• Creative Cloud Pro / Firefly / credit plans can include unlimited standard generations; premium still spends the monthly premium pool.
• When the pool is empty, wait for the monthly reset or buy credits. A crack will not refill Adobe’s meter.

Will Firefly AI Photoshop run on this PC?

Firefly in Photoshop needs a supported Photoshop 27.x machine plus the network. Official Photoshop 27+ Windows floor includes Win11 24H2/23H2 or Win10 22H2/21H2 LTSC, 8 GB RAM (16 GB+ recommended), DirectX 12 GPU, internet for activation and generation.

Already installed? Creative Cloud → Updates. You do not add a second “AI support” MSI.

Your first Firefly AI Photoshop edit

1. Open Photoshop 27.x.
2. Open an image.
3. Select the area (Selection Brush or any selection tool).
4. Generative Fill.
5. Pick Firefly Image 5 or Firefly Fill & Expand for Adobe models.
6. Prompt or leave blank to blend from surroundings.
7. Generate. Pick a variation in Properties.

Generate Image (new document) has its own model picker (Firefly Image 5 / 3 and listed partners).

If it did not work

• No Fill button — Contextual Task Bar hidden (Window), or app older than generative Photoshop.
• Greyed out — offline, firewall, or plan without generative AI.
• Instant error — credits empty or region/service block.
• “Firefly Support 12 MB” installer — leave.

Why this is not a plugin page

• Firefly lives in Photoshop, Firefly web, and other CC apps
• Models and credit rules change in CC updates
• Partner models are optional and premium

Is there an official Firefly EXE?
No. Install Photoshop from Adobe.

Is Firefly free in Photoshop?
You need a plan and credits. Some Remove-tool paths are documented as not consuming credits; Fill is not free unlimited.

Firefly vs partner models?
Firefly models are Adobe’s. Gemini/FLUX (as listed) are partners and usually premium.

Safe?
Official Photoshop + Adobe sign-in. The usual risk is fake “Firefly support” installers.

After Photoshop is current

Update to 27.10+. Sign in. Check credits. Use Generative Fill. Buy credits on Adobe if the meter is empty.
