Download MATLAB free for Windows — MathWorks’ numerical computing language from mathworks.com. “MATLAB full” means MATLAB plus every toolbox on your MathWorks licence. The installer is official. School or company seats use the organisation email. A personal Gmail will not see that campus licence.

If you searched for “MATLAB full,” “all toolboxes,” or “crack”

There is no separate Full SKU.

• First, create or sign in to a MathWorks account.
• Next, start a trial, buy a plan, or use a campus / work licence.
• Then, run the official installer.
• Finally, tick only the products the licence allows.

“Full” on a pirate page means every toolbox name in one ISO plus a licence hack. The real installer can pull all products (~25 GB) only if License Center says you own them. Adding a license.dat from a forum is not how MathWorks licensing works.

Your download should start on MathWorks’ site

If nothing saves, you are not signed in, or that account has no licence and no trial.

What to do next

1. Sign in at the MathWorks Downloads page.
2. Choose R2026a and Windows.
3. Run the installer.
4. Sign in again inside the wizard.
5. Select MATLAB, then Simulink and toolboxes your licence lists.
6. Wait. MATLAB alone is about 4.6 GB. A typical set is 5–8 GB. Everything you are allowed can approach 25 GB. Use an SSD.

Default folder: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2026a.

Labs and offline PCs: License Center → Advanced Options / file installation key, then MathWorks’ offline install docs. That ISO is for a paid seat. It is not a public “full DVD.”

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read MathWorks.
• SmartScreen can appear on a new installer. Use More info only if the signature matches.
• Do not turn off Defender to “unlock toolboxes.”
• Do not replace license.lic with a file from a chat group.

MATLAB Runtime is a different, free download for compiled apps. It is not MATLAB itself. Get it from MathWorks’ Runtime page, version-matched to the app (R2026a Runtime is 26.1).

Pick the right Windows file

R2026a on Windows ARM (Snapdragon X) runs under Prism emulation. Some features are missing. Intel Macs dropped off the new-release map as of R2026a.

Licence types (not “Full vs Lite”)

Prices move. Individual maintenance is often listed around US$940/year on MathWorks pages; Student Suite and Home are far less. Check mathworks.com/pricing-licensing. A campus licence you already have is the cheapest “full” you will see.

Will it run on this PC?

Official R2026a Windows floor:

• OS: Windows 11 23H2 or later; Windows 10 22H2; Windows Server 2022 / 2025
• CPU: 64-bit Intel/AMD; four cores + AVX2 recommended (AVX2 required in a future release)
• RAM: 8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended
• Disk: 4.6 GB MATLAB only; plan 25 GB if you tick every product; SSD strongly recommended
• GPU: WebGL 2.0 + 2 GB VRAM helps graphics; Parallel Computing Toolbox needs a supported NVIDIA compute capability

Already installed? Use the installer or in-product update to move to R2026a. You do not need a second “full 2026” pack. Old releases stay in C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R20XXx until you remove them.

Install, first run, and activation

First run

1. Start MATLAB from the Start menu.
2. Sign in or point at the licence file your admin gave you.
3. Run ver to see which toolboxes actually activated.
4. If a toolbox is missing, it is not on the licence — Add-On Explorer will not steal it.

Uninstall: Windows Settings → Apps, or MathWorks’ uninstall doc. Close MATLAB first.

If it did not work

• Downloads page empty — wrong email, or no trial/licence.
• Installer is 50 MB and named Full_Crack — leave.
• Toolbox list short — that is the licence, not a broken “full” install.
• Licence server error — campus concurrent seat; VPN or IT.

Can I download every toolbox?
Only those on the licence. The installer can list many. Activation follows License Center.

Is MATLAB free?
No. Runtime is free for compiled apps. MATLAB itself is licensed. Many schools already paid.

Do I need the internet forever?
Install and activation usually need it. Offline installs exist for licensed organisations.

Safe?
Official installer plus a real licence. The usual risk is fake “all toolbox” ISOs.

After you have the file

Install from MathWorks. Sign in. Tick what you own. Pay or use the campus seat. Do not paste a cracked license.dat.
