Product page still flags Nuke 17.1. Official: foundry.com and your Foundry account. “Nuke Studio 17 unlocked” is not Foundry. 30-day trial / non-commercial exist. Same installer family as Nuke / NukeX; the licence turns on Studio. This is not After Effects. Floating licences stay on Foundry’s server tools — not a keygen. Use it on shots you have the right to finish.

30-day trial (sign up on Foundry). Paid Studio subscription (their page listed about $6,379/yr*). NCV for learning. Cancel in the Foundry account. Assist / Render seats that ship with Studio stay on their EULA.

A $40 “Studio lifetime 2026” key is not Foundry.

Will Foundry Nuke Studio run on this PC?

Foundry current sheet: Windows 11 64-bit qualified (Win10 often still used; see Q100651). 64-bit only. RAM/GPU scale with EXR and GPU nodes — official “minimums” are old; 64 GB+ and a modern NVIDIA are normal for Studio timelines. ~3.5 GB install; caches want fast disks. Not Windows Server as a supported artist box.

Already installed? 17.1v1 beside 16.x if the pipeline needs both VFX Reference Platforms. You do not hunt a second “full.”

Install, first script, and the seat

First run

1. Open Foundry Nuke Studio.
2. New project / ingest a sequence you own.
3. Comp tab if you need nodes.
4. Save .nk / project outside Program Files.
5. Don’t load a cracked plugin pack.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps / Foundry installer.

If it did not work

• Opens as Nuke not Studio — wrong licence feature.
• Licence fail — trial ended / no server.
• 90 MB Nuke_Unlocked — leave.
