Topaz Photo AI
“Photo AI” (Topaz Photo AI) is the old perpetual app. Topaz’s last Photo AI build is v4.0.4 (legacy, no new models). The current product is Topaz Photo — v1.7.0 (25–27 August 2026, Wonder 3.5). x64 and Snapdragon are different installers. Adobe announced an acquisition of Topaz Labs in June 2026; you still download from Topaz / your Topaz account, not a cracked “Photo AI 2026 Pro” pack.

If you searched for “Photo AI 4.2 full,” “1.7 portable,” or “activated”
There is no extra unlocked setup.
- New work: download Topaz Photo 1.7.0 (Windows or Snapdragon) from your Topaz account
- Old perpetual: download Photo AI 4.0.4 from Legacy
- Sign in with the Topaz ID that owns that product
- Let models install
A “1.7 pre-activated” folder plus a hosts-file patch is stolen licensing. Grey-market keys are often recycled seats.
Topaz Photo AI will not get Wonder 3.5. That lives in Topaz Photo.
Your download should start on Topaz’s site
If the EXE is 70 MB named PhotoAI_Full_2026, leave.
What to do next
- Sign in at topazlabs.com.
- Apps → Topaz Photo or Legacy → Photo AI.
- Match Windows x64 vs Snapdragon.
- Install. Sign in inside the app.
- Download one core model. Wonder 3.5 after VRAM and disk are ready.
Typical folders: C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Photo and ...\Topaz Photo AI.
Photoshop / Lightroom plugins: install from the app you paid for. Photoshop often keeps one Topaz photo plugin as default — pick which product you actually use.
Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.
- Publisher should read Topaz Labs.
- SmartScreen can appear on a new installer. Use More info only if the signature is Topaz.
- Do not turn off Defender to “unlock Autopilot.”
- AVX required on Intel/AMD. Snapdragon uses the ARM installer.

Trial and licence
Topaz Photo is subscription; access stops if you do not renew (Topaz’s compare page). Photo AI is a version you own; Topaz documents 2 PCs and periodic online auth. Cancel Photo in the Topaz account if you only wanted a look.
A $25 “Photo AI Pro lifetime 2026” key is not Topaz.
Adobe’s June 2026 acquisition note does not turn a forum ZIP into an official installer.
Will it run on this PC?
Topaz Photo official floor: Windows 10/11 (they push Windows 11), Intel/AMD AVX after ~2016, 16 GB RAM, dedicated GPU 6 GB VRAM (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel Arc), 60 GB on C: for models. Comfortable: Win11, 24 GB RAM, RTX / RX 5000 8 GB+. Integrated UHD 600 / Xe is a last resort. Internet for install, licence, cloud.

Already on Photo? In-app / account update to 1.7.0. You do not download a second “AI Pro full.”
Install, first photo, and sign-in
First run
- Open Topaz Photo (or Photo AI if that is what you own).
- Sign in.
- Denoise / sharpen a small JPEG.
- Add Wonder 3.5 only on Photo 1.7 when VRAM is enough.
- Plugin after standalone works.
Uninstall: Settings → Apps. Models can stay until you delete them.
If it did not work
- AVX error — wrong CPU or x64 on ARM.
- Wonder missing — you are on Photo AI 4.
- 80 MB
PhotoAI_Unlocked— leave.
