Topaz Sharpen AI
Topaz Sharpen AI is Topaz Labs’ older standalone sharpener / shake fixer (last public line about 4.1.0). New sharpen models (Sharpen – Noise-Aware, portraits, wildlife, etc.) ship in Topaz Photo — the current app after Photo AI froze. Official: topazlabs.com/downloads (current + Legacy). “Sharpen AI 4.1 unlocked plugin” is not Topaz. Photo AI is legacy. This is not Lightroom. Use it on photos you own. GPU helps; models are large.

A “4.1.0 pre-activated” folder plus a patched Topaz Sharpen AI.exe is stolen licensing. Grey-market keys are often recycled.
Photo AI 4.0.4 still runs if you bought that perpetual line — Topaz says no new models.

If the EXE is 20 MB named SharpenAI_2026, leave. Online stub is small; models are gigabytes.

- SmartScreen can appear on a new Photo 1.6 setup. Use More info only if that name matches.
- Do not turn off Defender to “remove watermark.”

Trial and licence
Topaz trial, then Photo subscription (current commerce) or a legacy perpetual if you still have Sharpen / Photo AI. Auth is checked periodically on Photo. Cancel in the Topaz account.
A $12 “Sharpen lifetime 2026” key is not Topaz.
Will it run on this PC?
Current Photo wants a modern Win10/11 64-bit box, 16 GB RAM comfortable, NVIDIA/AMD for speed, tens of GB for models. Sharpen AI 4.1 was lighter and listed Win7–11 64-bit on old sheets. Snapdragon: separate Photo installer. Internet for licence + first models. SSD strongly recommended.

Install, first RAW, and the key
First run
- Open Topaz Photo or Sharpen AI.
- Sign in.
- One slightly soft RAW you own.
- Compare strength vs crunch.
- Export; batch after one good preset.
Uninstall: Settings → Apps.
If it did not work
- Watermark — no seat.
- Model download fail — retry on current Photo.
- 25 MB
SAI_Unlocked— leave.
