Affinity Designer was Serif’s vector app. Canva now ships a free unified Affinity app (Pixel + Vector + Layout) at affinity.studio/download. Designer 2 still installs from your Serif account if you bought it; those V2 apps do not get future updates. “Designer 2.6 unlocked” is not Serif. New Affinity files do not open in V1/V2. This is not Illustrator. Use it on artwork you own. Canva AI extras may need Canva premium — the desktop Vector studio is listed as free.

There is no extra unlocked Designer 2 setup.

A “2.6 pre-activated” folder plus a patched licence is stolen licensing. Grey-market keys are often recycled.

V2 licence stays valid; activation servers stay up per their FAQ. No new V2 features.

If the EXE is 20 MB named AFDesigner_2026_Crack, leave. Real Windows builds are hundreds of MB.

What to do next

Typical folders: Canva Affinity path, or C:\Program Files\Affinity\Designer 2.

Keep a V2 copy if a pipeline must stay on .afdesign V2-only.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read Serif / Canva.
• SmartScreen can appear on a new Affinity setup. Use More info only if that name matches.
• Do not turn off Defender to “register V2.”
• GPU: DirectX 10 minimum.

Affinity Designer trial and licence

New Affinity: free. V2 was a one-time Serif licence — still yours. Canva AI may require Canva premium. Cancel Canva in the Canva account if you subscribed only for AI.

A $15 “Designer 2 lifetime 2026” keygen is not Serif.

Will it run on this PC?

New Affinity Windows: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, x64 + SSE2, 4 GB RAM (8 GB+ better), 2.5 GB disk, DirectX 10 GPU, 1280×768. Not 32-bit. Large documents want more RAM.

Already installed? Studio download for the free app; Serif update page for Designer 2. You do not hunt a second “full.”

Install, first artboard, and the seat

First run

1. Open Affinity (Vector) or Designer 2.
2. New document.
3. Save. Remember: new app files won’t open in V2.
4. Don’t install a “persona pack” crack.
5. Canva sign-in only if you want cloud/AI extras.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps.

If it did not work

• V2 won’t open new Affinity files — expected.
• Designer 2 won’t activate — Serif account, not a keygen.
• 30 MB AFD_Unlocked — leave.

Why people still install official Affinity

• Serious vector tools, now free at the Canva URL
• V2 still re-downloadable if you paid
• No Adobe subscription for the desktop app

It will not match every Illustrator plugin.

Yes if it came from affinity.studio or store.serif.com and the publisher is Serif/Canva.

Is Designer 2 still sold?
New path is free Affinity. V2 is maintenance-only for owners.

Safe?

Install Affinity from affinity.studio/download. Re-download Designer 2 from Serif only if you already own it.
