If you searched for “Sampler 2026 full,” “Alchemist unlocked,” or “activated”

There is no extra unlocked setup.

• Install Creative Cloud Desktop
• Sign in with the Adobe ID that owns Substance 3D Collection
• Click Install
• Stay online the first launch so Adobe can activate

A “6.0 pre-activated” folder plus an amtlib patch is stolen licensing. Adobe apps check the account. Grey-market keys are often recycled seats.

Legacy Alchemist .key files are not a 6.0 Collection seat. Do not drop a forum license.key into AppData.

You must sign in periodically (Adobe documents about every 30 days monthly / 99 days annual).

Your download should start in Creative Cloud

If nothing installs, this ID has Photoshop only, or you opened Designer by mistake.

What to do next

1. Install Creative Cloud Desktop if it is missing.
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Find Substance 3D Sampler → Install.
4. Let CC pull 6.0.3.
5. Open a small photo set — not a 16K scan on day one.

App path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Sampler.

Admins can use a named-user package. Do not take a 3 GB “full ISO” from a forum.

6.0.0 and earlier are the versions named in security bulletin APSB26-60. Stay on 6.0.1+.

Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.

• Publisher should read Adobe.
• SmartScreen can appear on a new CC setup. Use More info only if the signature is Adobe.
• Do not turn off Defender to “activate.”
• Do not replace licensing DLLs.

About should show 6.0.3.

Adobe warns NVIDIA driver 610.47 is unstable in Sampler — skip that build. Use current Studio/Game Ready instead. VMs and Windows Server are not supported on the Substance hardware pages.

HP Z Captis is optional capture hardware with a higher recommended spec. You do not need it to install Sampler.

Trial and subscription

Sampler is sold in the Substance 3D Collection (individual, teams, education). Adobe documents a 30-day trial. Cancel in account.adobe.com if you only wanted the trial.

Education seats follow Adobe Education rules. A $25 “Sampler 2026 lifetime” key is not Adobe.

Will Substance 3D Sampler run on this PC?

Sampler 6.x official Windows floor: Windows 11 64-bit 23H2, Core i5 / Ryzen 5 class, 16 GB RAM, 8 GB VRAM, SSD with 30 GB free. Recommended: 32 GB / 16 GB VRAM; optimal: 64 GB / 24 GB on a 4090-class card. Current GPU drivers (Adobe lists floors such as GeForce 551.86).

Already installed? Creative Cloud → Updates to 6.0.3. You do not download a second “2026 full.”

Install Substance 3D Sampler, first material, and sign-in

First run

1. Open Substance 3D Sampler.
2. Sign in with the same Adobe ID.
3. Import one well-lit photo set.
4. Check OpenPBR / material presets if you are on 6.0.
5. Export SBSAR / maps into Painter or Designer.

Uninstall: Creative Cloud → Uninstall. Close Sampler first.

If it did not work

• App missing in CC — this ID never had the Collection.
• Black viewport / crash — NVIDIA 610.47 or VM.
• Installer is 80 MB named Sampler_Unlocked — leave.
• Windows 10 — current page starts at Windows 11 23H2.
• Looking for Alchemist — install Sampler.
