BitTorrent Pro is Rainberry’s paid upgrade for the official BitTorrent client (same house as µTorrent). Windows SKUs on bittorrent.com/platforms/windows are BitTorrent Classic (desktop) and BitTorrent Web, each with a Pro plan. Classic Pro is the ad-free desktop client (~$4.95 on their Windows page; anniversary deals exist). “BitTorrent Pro 8.5 unlocked” is not Rainberry. The protocol is legal; most commercial video/software torrents are not. Only add torrents you have the right to transfer. This page is the installer, not an index.

If the EXE is 3 MB named BitTorrent_Pro_Silent, leave. Official stubs are small; decline extra offers in the wizard.

Trial and licence
Free Classic/Web with ads. Pro is a cheap paid plan (ads off, extras they list: scanner / player / convert — read the current shop). Cancel in the BitTorrent/µTorrent account. Android Pro is a different store purchase.
A $2 “Pro lifetime 2026” key is not Rainberry.

First run
- Open BitTorrent Classic or Web.
- Set a download folder you control.
- Add only authorised torrents.
- Cap upload if the office network hates P2P.
- Pro badge appears after a real upgrade.
Uninstall: Settings → Apps.

- Ads remain — not Pro.
- AV quarantine — restore the official EXE, don’t grab a crack.
