Downloads of Windows 11 version 21H2 (original), which includes KB5019157 as well as a number of other fixes and improvements, are now available. Offline installers for Windows 11 KB5019157 have been made available by Microsoft, as is their customary practise; these installers can be used to do upgrades manually.

The KB5019157 update is incompatible with all versions of operating systems released after Windows 11 21H2, including Windows 10. Despite the fact that it is not a huge cumulative update, this one has a number of significant enhancements and bug fixes. As part of the update, Quick Assist will be available again in Windows 11, as per a decision made by Microsoft.

For the benefit of those who are unaware, the Quick Assist software, which is typically utilised by businesses to fix issues with the hardware of their employees, was not included in the introduction of Windows 11 that took place the previous year. Because the application may be operated remotely, issues that arise with the computer can be resolved without the need to make direct physical contact with it.

In Windows Update, the optional patch would be referred to as “2022-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019157).” To get started, just click the option that says “download and install,” and then restart your device if you are requested to do so.

Following the installation of the update, the system build number on your device will change to reflect Windows 11 Build 22000.1281; however, the version will continue to be 21H2.
