Adobe Premiere Rush
Adobe Premiere Rush is being discontinued. Public downloads from Adobe.com and the mobile stores ended 30 September 2025. Installed copies may keep running until 30 September 2026, when Adobe ends technical support and says the apps may stop working. “Rush 2026 full” is not a new product. Use Premiere on desktop or Premiere on iPhone.

Rush was the lightweight social editor. As of today (1 September 2026) you are four weeks from Adobe’s support end date. If Creative Cloud still shows Rush under More apps from Adobe, that is only for people who already had an entitlement — not a new store SKU.

If you searched for “Rush 2026 full,” “portable,” or “activated”
There is no new unlocked setup.
- Check Creative Cloud → More apps from Adobe only if this ID already had Rush
- If Rush is missing, Adobe is not selling you a 2026 installer
- Export every project this month
A “Rush 2025 pre-activated” folder is stolen licensing and will not outlive Adobe’s shutdown.
Subscriptions stopped renewing after 30 September 2025. Premium Rush features can already be gone; Adobe said the free leftover app might limp until 30 September 2026.
Premiere Rush download will not start on Adobe.com
Store pages and adobe.com downloads were pulled on 30 September 2025.
What to do next
- Open Creative Cloud Desktop.
- Look under More apps from Adobe for Premiere Rush — entitled accounts only.
- If it is there, install on a PC you will not wipe before 30 September 2026. New PCs and OS upgrades can break Rush.
- If it is not there, install Premiere (desktop).
- On iPhone, use Premiere on iPhone. Adobe has an Android Premiere in development.
Do not take a 1 GB “Rush ISO” from a forum.
Synced Creative Cloud files for Rush were already killed on Adobe’s schedule. Do not assume projects still live in the old sync folder. Copy media off the machine.
Windows may warn you. Check the publisher.
- Publisher should read Adobe.
- Any “Rush 2026” EXE from a file host — cancel.
- Do not turn off Defender to “keep Rush alive.”
Adobe warns that OS updates will make Rush less reliable. Freeze the box you still edit on, or finish the cut in Premiere.

Trial and subscription
Rush single-app renewals stopped. You cannot buy a fresh Rush year. Premiere desktop is the paid/trial path. Premiere on iPhone is the free-leaning mobile path Adobe documents.
A $10 “Rush lifetime 2026” key is not Adobe.
Will it run on this PC?
Only if Rush is already entitled and already installable from CC. Adobe’s own advice: stay on the current configuration. A new Windows 11 feature update can be the thing that breaks it.
Already installed? Export now. Do not format the disk. Do not wait for a “2026.1” patch — there is no replacement train.
Last export (do this before 30 September 2026)
- Open Rush on the machine that still has it.
- Export master + social copies.
- Copy project media to a disk you control.
- Open the result in Premiere if you need more cuts.
- Uninstall Rush after you have files in hand.
If Rush will not install
- Not in CC — entitlement gone. Use Premiere.
- New PC — Adobe expected this. Use Premiere.
- 40 MB
Rush_Unlocked— leave.
Why this Premiere Rush page still exists
- People still search “download Rush”
- A few entitled desktops can still pull it from More apps
- The calendar date is 30 September 2026
It is not a reason to start a new channel on Rush.
Questions before you trust an installer
Is there an official Rush 2026 EXE?
No public one. Entitled CC leftover only, and that window is closing.
Is Rush free now?
Stores pulled it. Leftover free mode may work until 30 Sep 2026. Do not plan on it.
Rush vs Premiere?
Rush is the dead lightweight app. Premiere is the live editor.
Safe?
Only Adobe’s CC leftover. Forum “Rush 2026 full” files are the risk.
After you check Creative Cloud
If Rush is still listed, install it once, export everything, then move to Premiere. If it is not listed, skip Rush.
