However, a “9.7 pre-activated” folder is stolen licensing. In addition, fake “AnyDesk” EXEs are a common theft tool. If someone remote-asks you to download AnyDesk right now, hang up.

If the EXE is 40 MB named AnyDesk_Secure_Support, leave. In contrast, official Windows is ~8.4 MB.

Will it run on this PC?

AnyDesk lists Windows XP SP2 through Windows 11 and Server 2003 SP2+. Practical: Windows 10/11, hardware GPU, decent uplink on the remote PC. ~8 MB disk. Internet to AnyDesk servers (*.net.anydesk.com) unless you bought On-Premises. Mirror driver only on very old Windows.

Already installed? Fortunately, download 9.7.15 over it from anydesk.com. In other words, you do not hunt a second “Pro full.”

Install, first session, and safety
