Video Copilot Element 3D download is Video Copilot’s GPU 3D plugin for Adobe After Effects. Current product line is Element 3D v2 / v2.2. Official files come from your videocopilot.net account after purchase — not a “E3D 2.2 unlocked .aex.” Install After Effects first. Model packs (JetStrike, Architecture, …) licence to the same Video Copilot login as Element. This is not Cinema 4D. Adobe still documents AE + Element crash workarounds as of April 2026 — keep both updated.

If you searched for “Element 3D 2.2 full,” “plugin portable,” or “activated”

First of all, there is no extra unlocked .aex.

• First, purchase on videocopilot.net
• Next, Account → Downloads
• Then, full PC installer
• After that, close After Effects
• Finally, licence with store login

However, a “E3D 2.2 pre-activated” folder plus a patched Element.aex is stolen licensing. In addition, grey-market keys are often recycled.

v1 projects in v2: VC says don’t casually open them. Moreover, with a patch-only install, starter models / bevels go missing — therefore run the installer.

Licence reset: delete C:\ProgramData\VideoCopilot (hidden) then reinstall — only if you own the seat.

Therefore, if the ZIP is 15 MB named E3D_AE2026_Crack, leave.

What to do next

Buy from Video Copilot (perpetual plugin historically). However, the licence is tied to the store account / one machine — not one installer.

Will it run on this PC?

VC specs: Windows 7+ (use Win10/11), After Effects CS5+, NVIDIA/AMD GPU with 512 MB+ VRAM on paper (1 GB+ class cards recommended on old sheets). OBJ + C4D R12+ models. OpenGL renderer. Meanwhile, AE 2025/2026: install latest Element and AE — Adobe’s crash article still applies. However, complex scenes + max AA will kill mid GPUs. Finally, farm GPU render is not officially supported.

Already installed? Fortunately, run the full installer again from your account, then AE + E3D updates. In other words, you do not hunt a second “2.2 full.”

Install, first scene, and licence

First run

1. First, new AE comp.
2. Next, Solid → Effect → Element.
3. Then, Scene Setup → licence / starter models.
4. After that, one OBJ you own.
5. Finally, preview; don’t max SSAA on a laptop GPU.

Uninstall: VC uninstaller / delete the plugin; in addition, remove ProgramData only if relicensing your copy.

If it did not work

• Missing Effect — AE was open / wrong bitness.
• Pack unregistered — different email.
• 25 MB E3D_Unlocked — leave.

Why people still install official Element

• Fast OpenGL 3D inside AE
• v2.2 still the current VC build
• Adobe still documents it in 2026

However, it will not replace a full 3D suite.
