DS CATIA
DS CATIA download is Dassault Systèmes’ CAD/PLM modeller. Two live tracks: classic CATIA V5-6R#### (partners list V5-6R2026 / R36) and platform 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA R2026x. You download only from 3ds.com/support/software-downloads with a DS ID that owns the seats. “CATIA V5 R21 portable” is not Dassault. Licensing is DSLS (and 3DEXPERIENCE roles for the platform). This is not SolidWorks. Student builds are a separate DS programme.

If you searched for “CATIA V5 R21 full,” “R2026 portable,” or “license crack”
First of all, there is no extra unlocked setup.
- First, sign in at 3ds.com Software Downloads
- Next, filter CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE
- Then, take GA (CAT2-R##-win_b64.zip style) then matching SP
- After that, extract (often 7-Zip)
Next, run setup.exe- Finally, configure DSLS
However, a “V5-6R2025 pre-activated” folder plus a patched CNEXT.exe is stolen licensing. In addition, grey-market keys are often recycled DS IDs.

What to do next
- Open Software Downloads.

- Next, install GA, then SP.
- Finally, start CATIA. Confirm licences (MD2, HD2, etc.).

Trial and licence
First, commercial seats from DS / partners. Next, 3DEXPERIENCE roles assigned in the platform. Finally, cancel cloud roles in the DS admin console if that is the contract.
However, a $50 “CATIA V5 lifetime 2026” key is not Dassault.
Will it run on this PC?
According to partner matrices for current V5: Windows 11 64-bit Pro/Enterprise on late releases; Windows 10 drops off newer V5-6R years. OpenGL workstation GPU (NVIDIA RTX A / AMD Pro class), 16–32 GB+ RAM in practice (4 GB is a historical floor), tens of GB disk, certified configs for support. DS accepts 25H2 hardware SRs only on boxes for V5-6R2024+ and 3DEXPERIENCE R2024x+. Therefore, Home SKUs are a bad idea.

Already installed? First, get SP / HF from the same portal. In other words, you do not hunt a second “full.”
Install, first part, and the licence
First run
- First, confirm DSLS / 3DEXPERIENCE login.
- Next, open CATIA.
- Then, create a new Part — not a full vehicle as test one.
- Help → About = V5-6R#### or R2026x.
- Finally, save into the office PDM method.
Finally, uninstall: DS uninstaller / Settings → Apps.
If it did not work
- No workbench — first, missing licence role.
- Wrong Windows edition — next, Home / uncertified GPU.
- Finally, 200 MB CATIA_Unlocked — leave.
Why offices still install CATIA
- Automotive / aero native
- V5 still mandated + R2026x on 3DEXPERIENCE
- DS downloads + DSLS
However, it will not replace a CAM post by itself.

Is CATIA free? In short, no. Student edition is a separate DS programme.
V5 vs 3DEXPERIENCE? In short, V5 = classic desktop. R2026x = platform CATIA.
Safe? First, use official DS media. However, forum “CATIA R21 full” files are the risk.

First, start the DS CATIA download: install the V5-6R or R2026x media your contract names from Dassault. Next, point it at DSLS. Finally, keep the OEM year if the customer locked it.
