One Windows installer; the licence is EX vs PRO. “CSP EX 5.1 unlocked” is not Celsys. Perpetual 5.0 keeps 5.0 features; newer 5.1 tools need an update plan or a new major. First of all, there is no extra unlocked setup.

- Finally, confirm the splash says EX
However, a “5.1.2 pre-activated” folder plus a patched CLIPStudioPaint.exe is stolen licensing. In addition, grey-market keys are often recycled.
PRO owners: same app family, no EX story / 3D / multi-page tools. Therefore, buy an EX upgrade from Celsys — don’t patch PRO.
Perpetual 5.0 without update plan stays on 5.0 features; however, 5.1.2 is for monthly/yearly / update-plan seats.

Trial and licence
First, Celsys offers a 30-day trial. EX perpetual (JP store listed ¥28,900 for 5.0 download) or subscription. Update plan is extra for perpetual owners who want 5.1+. Finally, cancel subs in the CLIP STUDIO account.
However, a $10 “EX lifetime 2026” key is not Celsys.
Will it run on this PC?
According to the v4 Windows sheet (still the detailed EN table): Windows 10/11 64-bit, SSE2 CPU, OpenGL 3.3, 2 GB RAM min / 8 GB recommended, 3 GB disk, 1024×768. Win7/8/10-32-bit out of warranty. After autumn 2026, new Clip Studio releases stay on Win10-64 / Win11. Huge comics: 16 GB+ RAM. Therefore, internet for licence.

Already installed? First, use CLIP STUDIO → update if your plan allows 5.1.2. In other words, you do not hunt a second “EX full.”
Install, first page, and EX
First run
- First, open CLIP STUDIO PAINT.
- Next, confirm EX.
- Then, new page / story.
- After that, one ink layer. Save .clip.
- Finally, cloud materials only if you use their cloud.
Finally, uninstall: Settings → Apps.
If it did not work
- Says PRO — first, wrong licence.
