SkinFiner download gives you Chengzhu Li’s portrait retouch app — standalone and a Photoshop / Lightroom plugin. Current Windows line is 5.8 (skinfiner.exe, ~144 MB). First of all, there is no extra unlocked setup.
- First, download 5.8 from photo-toolbox.com
- Next, quit Photoshop / Lightroom
- Then, install
- After that, restart the host
- Finally, buy / enter the Pro key
However, a “5.8 pre-activated” folder plus a replaced SkinFiner.exe is stolen licensing. In addition, grey-market keys are often recycled.

However, unregistered / Free is limited (Softpedia lists Pro extras: 16-bit save, HEIF, liquify, watermark module…). Buy on photo-toolbox.com. For example, a $8 “Pro lifetime 2026” key is not them.

Install, first portrait, and Pro
First run
- First, open SkinFiner or Filter → SkinFiner.
- Next, open a portrait you own.
- Then, light smooth — check pores.
- After that, register Pro if you paid.
- Finally, batch only after one good preset.
Finally, uninstall: Settings → Apps.
If it did not work
- No PS filter — first, host was open; use Install plugin.
- Watermark — that means not Pro.
- Finally, 25 MB SF_Unlocked — leave.
