Microsoft 365 Apps (once called Office 365 ProPlus) is the work desktop bundle. You get it when a work or school admin assigns a licence. You do not download a separate cracked ProPlus.

• Stay signed in so the apps stay licensed

A “lifetime 365” key from a marketplace is not how this product works. When the subscription stops, desktop apps go unlicensed.

If nothing saves, you signed in with the wrong account. Home plans sit on a personal Microsoft account. Work plans sit on a work or school account. They are not interchangeable.

Install, first run, and the subscription clock

First run

1. Open Word from Start.
2. Sign in with the same account that owns the plan.
3. Check File → Account.
4. Save a test file to OneDrive if the plan includes it.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps → Microsoft 365, or Microsoft’s uninstall article. Close Outlook first.

If it did not work

• Install button missing — wrong account, or Basic / Business Basic (no desktop apps).
• “Another copy of Office” — old 2019/2021 Click-to-Run still there. Remove it first.
• Unlicensed after a month — trial ended or payment failed.
• Work PC blocked the setup — your admin owns the install.
