Windows 10 (version 1809) November 2018
Windows 10 version 1809 returned on 13 November 2018 after Microsoft had pulled the original October release. This November build is the corrected version that fixed the serious data-loss bug and several other problems that appeared in the first rollout. It followed version 1803 and the short-lived October 1809 release.

The features themselves stayed the same as the October build. The main difference is reliability — the November images are the ones most people actually used.
Features that arrived with 1809
- Dark mode in File Explorer
- Your Phone app for Android devices
- Snip & Sketch
- Nearby sharing
- Clipboard history (Win + V)
- Redesigned Game Bar
- More Fluent Design elements
- Additional options in Settings and the Photos app
The critical “files being deleted during upgrade” issue that forced the October pull was resolved in this November release.

Editions
Available in Home, Pro, Enterprise and Education. No Ultimate edition exists for Windows 10.
Download the November 1809 ISOs
Windows 10 (1809) 64-bit ISO – approx. 5.0 GB
Windows 10 (1809) 32-bit ISO – approx. 3.5 GB
These are the later, fixed 1809 images. For a Windows 10 installation that stayed supported the longest, use the final release: version 22H2.
Installing
Create a bootable USB with Rufus or the Media Creation Tool, boot from it, and choose Upgrade or Custom install. After setup finishes, run Windows Update to pick up any remaining cumulative updates that were still issued for 1809.
Mounting the ISO and running setup.exe also works for an in-place upgrade.
Notes
- Windows 10 reached end of support on 14 October 2025. 1809 stopped receiving regular updates years earlier.
- A genuine product key matching the edition is required.
- Prefer 22H2 for any new installation today.
All Windows 10 versions are listed on the main Windows 10 download page.
