Microsoft has been experimenting with the search bar to bring the most effective and user-friendly search experience to Windows 11 search in the taskbar.
Finding an app or file is a breeze using Windows Search. If you’re looking for a particular app, file, or setting that’s hidden deep within Windows 10, Windows 10, and Windows 11, Windows Search is one of the finest ways to find it.
If you want to search for something in the operating system, all you have to do is type or choose a keyword in the search area next to the Start button in the taskbar.
You can use the search box at the bottom left of the taskbar in Windows 10 to find what you’re looking for. A new search symbol has been added to the taskbar in Windows 11. You can choose to open your most frequently used apps and Microsoft’s Bing search highlights by default.

The search bar’s settings can’t be altered by performing a right-click on it. In order to customize the taskbar, you must first launch the Settings app.
